answer for knght...there is a command for testing vista crack in the crack menu ...still uses the timer crack...but i have installed this now 5 times to check and all is well. my server linmit it restricted now as when i uploaded the crack there where 15781 downloads in one hour and server went nuts...but it has been reseeded above by this site

just download the crack i uploaded last night nd it has been edited..why? menu navigation structures has been removed etc..this made it more simple to apply

im using trend micros pc-cillin security suite 2007 and works a treat...so microsoft will not get at this machine unless they have something up their sleeve...in which case...keeps me busy. im currently working on a 64bit version and will post when ready...also working on a different approach that has not been tried...so will keep this close to my chest...keeps microsoft snoopers at bay until i double check its working

this box is ment to apear once you install it. it appears on 1st reboot. after that it no longer pops up after additional reboots or shut down.

to uninstall simply use system restore...but you have definetly mucked up when installing....or applied over the top of an existing crack...fresh install recommended also disconnect from internet until you have applied crack and disabled automatic updates

anyone else installed this yet and have the "crack applied" box not show up?

think the box problem is the crack may not have been applied properly...everytime you try a reboot i think its trying to finish the crack ...did you right click the file and run as administrator...did you have a previous crack installed?

i turned off the following..try them 1 at a time @ adolf

windowsupdates (set to manual)
windowsfirewall (running pc cillin)
bit defender (running pc cillin)
security center (bloody annoying popup)
user account control (running pc cillin)


apart from the box poping up is the timer stopped...if it is the crack has workded all we need to do now is disable the box from popping up...can you tell me exactly what thwe box says and its process...anybody else had this problem?

also i take it was a fresh install with the biios date preset?

if i have said it once i'll say it again, all of you wouldn't be having these issues if you had vista business or enterprise activated via kms server. if you all did, you would notice that all updates are ok, reinstalls wouldn't have to happen, real activation, not a cracked trial. i suggest newbies take this route as it is easier to maintain.

some tips:
1. disable windows and defender auto-updates.
2. take a backup image of your vista installation before applying any cracks or updates so you can restore if trouble hits.
3. setup a vmware duplicate of your particular vista version. once up and running take a snapshot in vmware then install all windows and defender updates. use the vmware pc to test the updates, if one locks you out restore the snapshot and log it as trouble. use this method and you'll only have to build your vista pc once and will never get burned.

this method does work for vista ultimate as long as you install it with 6.0.6000 build.
im sure the method you are using works too for business or enterprise. vista ultimate is the most sort after an so gets more attention by crackers than the beta file methods. as with the crack you have used it has failed too on many machines..think both methods work just sometimes the user misunderstands instructions this works 100% from fresh install on any ultimate version that has been installed without any cracks or mods previous to running this one. i have all the latest updates apart from

make sure you have user account control off before running the crack. is it a fresh install? have you had an existing crack running on it before you installed this? also was date changed in bios before install?

these cracks are all s**t and you lot know it, when the top dogs out there make proper activation cracks where you can go on ms servers get ie7 and it says it's genuine then that's a crack!

i have user account control off, but it's not a fresh install. i have used a different crack, and i originally did the bios thing when i installed vista, but i've had vista installed for about a month now

i think thats the proplem..ive just installed the crack over another on my other machine and it has errors...i then reinstalled it fresh...and its worked first time. so it works on fresh installs 100%

download the crack in the forum...not the one listed by keznews.com they have edited the crack..the one in this forum is untouched and works

if i launch it i receive a "crack error" and slmgr.vbs -dlv command give me an error.

if i restart my system, the cr@ck seems works fine (slmgr.vbs -dlv give me 43200 minutes).

when i got the iso files i tried just burning a cd because i didn't have any virtual drive software for vista and it didn't work because it makes a file which would be on the cd.

when i got a program so i could extract the iso file, i got the same error as from the original file.
it's not a super big deal because i plan on re installing oem vista when i buy a bigger hd, but i am using vista as my primary on

change the system time to the correct time the bios will revert itself and turn of sync with internet clock and uncheck automatic updates. internet connection should have been removed until crack was run and timer checked.

you should have done the above before running the crack

just right click the iso and open with nero etc burn straight to disc.

hi, before the installaion of vista, i changed the year to 2098 (highest bios can go). during the installation of vista in the finalizing stages, it asks me to set up the date (part of the installation). the problem is that the year shown there is feb 1998 !!! what is wrong????

just as with the xp release, there are thousands on script kiddiez trying to feel 'man' with some selfmade scripties. the music makes it clear that this thingy is also made by a worthless pal trying to feel important for a couple of weeks, but just as with xp there will be no 100% working option. besides, vista is just xp with more pop-ups, more internet checking, and more user restrictions. get over it, and get back to work/games with your xp.

im sure this is somthing to do with your bios as crack has not been applied at this point. did you install vista with internet disconnected? if yes..then try install with bios date at say...2070...make sure the settings are saved...turn off pc and check bios again..might still be ok to go ahead and crack vista with the date at 1998...just a hint...mabye as you where leaving the bios the date was clicked round 1 by mistake before you saved does clock count from 1998 to 2098? if so theres your answer. do not change the time where you said it was 1998 as vista finalised. wait till screen boots then change date in system tray

hi. just a quick note, i was disconnected from the internet during the entire process.

so i went ahead and confirmed the date as feb 1998 and it went into windows. i manually changed the date in the bottom right corner (adjust time). i followed the rest of the procedure for the crack, it auto rebooted, and has confirmed that the time stayed at 43200. :)

now the problem is everytime i reboot and log into windows, the crack window automatically pops up and tries to re-crack again. of course, the log then says it failed. i continue by clicking cancel, and the activation time hasn't changed (stayed at top = 43200).

is it supposed to pop up everytime?

tyr disabling the popup using msconfig...and locating it...im sure that will solve the problem

i followed everystep but didn't disable sync with time and didn't turn of the internet and after crack was completed i fixed time to current. i skipped updates that would make crack fail and everything is working perfectly :p time thing still up

all those timerstop crack do nothing. you all think you're complete safe now, but in reality in 30 days windows will nag you that it has expired, and there you'll stand pants down screaming for you mom.

you can't crack an os that is connecting to the internet, and definatelly not in such a stupid scripty way.

a lot more experiments have already been done so far. according to several people who've already purchased the vista in orginal, stating that the recent version of vista is somehow different from rtm.

whether we should wait and commence our day to day experimentation with most recent vista version? or still need to tie our knot with rtm only...probably the serious enthusiasts who're looking for x64 cracking solution, may also...

i had this problem, too. on every start-up, i got "crack installed".

to fix this s**t, only run "msconfig". you have to uncheck the crack from autostart.

i heared that vista contain technology called titl bits, which can disable aero and other things after using cracks.

not had problems with aero with any of the cracks...

i know this is well random to put here but just incase it helps you, i jus went on play.com and there was a tab 3 games for £10 and there selling really good vintage pc games there. for £10 i jus got tomb raider 1-5 how sick is that man, maybe you lot can find some good games on there that aren't on torrents anymore, bye.

you must be logged on as administrator...
check your user account details in the control panel and edit it and check boxes to alow full privliges etc..then rerun the crack

due to it being an exe/iso file your email server has just blocked it. compress with winrar or winzip...not as a exe...but solid archive...that should do the trick

you must have had a previous crack running. this crack does not use the rearm command. think you are best reinstalling if you want to use this crack

if you have updates already installed on your system then the crack will not work. your previous crack is the problem honest..best bet is to do a fresh install then apply the crack

well i did everything i was told to...
got vista installed etc..
ran the "set crack now" and got the following error:

failed to change the system date
exception: unable to write to j:\files\crack\vista rtm crack.exe.ini
crack failed

now that is interesting, j:\ is my cd/dvd drive

anyway, i had spent all this time on installing it, so i tried the patched timerstop.sys crack tutorial..

when i do a slmgr.vbs -dlv my timer now says: 43200 :) :) :)

anyway, just thought you might like to know about that ini file trying to write to my cd/dvbd drive (should i have maybe copied the crack files form the cd/dvd to the hdd first??

i tried the 3way crack and did everything exactly. the installer was successful in every way but when checking if the crack worked it still keeps counting down from 43200. tried 5 times so far doing it slightly different each time but no luck.

i am installing vista tonite. in about 3 hrs. please release it before then :-)

1) total reinstall (loose everything)
2) if someone releases an activation bypass crack/program

in regards to number 2 is there anything like this out as yet?

ive just been doing a little exploring with the 'grace peried timer' and ive found something rather interesting

if you have re-armed vista more than 3 times then your screwed.... maybe not

this is what i did to get the timer stopped

1) download the timerstop_crackv2.0 (google)
2) uninstall service
3) run the 'timerstop' crack program (the one with the red devil for an icon)
4) let it patch and then restart your system
5) after restart run slmge -dlv and note the time left
6) after a few mins check the timer, mines says 42901 and it hasnt moved!!

just never reboot, keep it on all year long.

guys make sure when you are about too run these cracks " turn-off your modem" also make sure when teh pc reboots to main screen, reset your proper date otherwise updates wont work.

well...i finally finished the updated version of my previous crack which got the nickname "new vista 3 way crack". the new version "vrtmc v2" file size: 3.95mb as well as being smaller than the last one has a better interface and a control panel to save searching for those commands etc. step by step guide and illistrations should help all those less experienced users to cope with applying it...most issues have been cleared up in the v2 version..and this will be the last for a while (2 days this version took me....anyhow with no further adoo.....link below...will seed until it gets airborne..

i recently had the misfortune of installing and encountering ‘bullseye’
rogurremover installed these files. when i attempted to perform the usual remove program,
bullseye had the audacity to make me take a survey before it would go away.
attempts to circumvent the survey elicited admonishments from diabolical bullseye.
one question asked what one would consider a reasonable number of pop-up ads one should
receive in a month-of course ‘zero’ was not an option. these demons no, i shouldn’t insult demons
with these people-who write and distribute rogueremover with bullseye need to be gored and stomped by a bull!

the problem whit the spotty dogg version is the auto close of menu. after 30-60 sec when press any key the menu close automatically. i fix this problem and update the menu version from 4.20 to 5.30

i disconnected completely on the reinstall, but the universal key now no longer works. i can't even boot to the desktop before it asks for a new key!any suggestions?

hi guys, i continue to get a blue screen ocasionally on booting right after the welcome screen. the event viewer shows that there is a problem with timerstop.sys "code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. the file could be corrupt due to unauthroized modfication or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error"

i downloaded the crack, i followed al lthe instructions and i tested with slmgr.vbs -dlv and it sayd 43200 mins. and now today i ran slmgr.vbs -dlv again and the number of minutes keeps on going down and also it says 29 days left. wtf? someone help me please!

what if you have windows xp on 1 partition and vista on another partiton of the same drive will the crack screw the bios for xp?

yesterday i was in an electronic market and looked to the comuter. on most of them was the windows vista key. i wrote it down and install the vista prem with this key. i had to activate by call. i said that i changed my main board. it was no problem. now i have a activate vista prem.

gill bates makes a good point. i am rather pleased with this crack, however it just doesn't feel right not being activated.
