Microsoft releases (crap) LiveCam drivers for Windows Vista

section: windows, for your questions: KezNews forum, 25.1.2007

Activewin reported that Microsoft finaly released Vista drivers for their LiveCams. The download site first asks for Language, OS and LiveCam type, then you can download a 117 MBSurprise file!

I could have sworn when I saw the lifecam1.6 package extract that all languages and cam type drivers came by, whats the use of the previous questions asked?

When starting LifeCam 1.6 it crashes! Come on what's this for kind of quality!

It's not that I'm running Vista on a some piece of crap hardware:

Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz - 5.1
Memory (RAM) - 2.00 GB - 5.4
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX - 5.9
Gaming graphics - 783 MB Total available graphics memory - 5.9
Primary hard disk - 26GB Free (49GB Total) - 5.9
Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate

5.1 - Determined by lowest subscore

Sure I must be the only one in the world with this problem.....
