Install
DO NOT reboot yet
Run CMD in administrative mode. Type slmgr -rearm, wait till the confirmation says completed successfully.
Reboot
Now whenever you need to reinstate the 30 day trial. goto CMD w/ admin privalages. and type slmgr -rearm

like the subject says. who uses win32 nowadays anyway? the thing is like 10 years old.
64-bit
is the way to go. unfortunately, does not work on x64 because x64 has two slmgr.vbs files.
also,
slmgr.vbs file in system32 folder is different than win32 version so no luck for us x64 fellas.

to reset the rearm counter (more than 3 times) go to:
hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows
nt\currentversion\sl
and edit:
"skiprearm"=dword:00000000
and put any
positive number. it will alow you to do slmgr.vbs -rearm one time. then repeat the procedure. but i think it
won't reset the minute counter :-(

if you read the readme after installing the hack, you can see the command is
slmgrhack -rearm
not
slmgr -rearm
the slmgrhack command appears to work more than 3 times! follow
the instructions in the readme not on this site!

after typing the command you have to wait (on my machine at least) about 45 seconds for the dialog to appear.

i have been running the 64bit version for a week solid with loads of reboots etc. installed it in 2099 :)
including formating drive. (but ignored the other 7!) disabled internet con. turned of windows time service
(after it checked and correctly set the time) still have 30 days to go... after a week?also done a good few
updates, found drivers automatically online etc. no serial entered and multiboot with xp64
am i suppose to have vista installed to do this?

i am using xp and vista and must say that vista is great!!
why does it always count your time and decreases time and what happens when it reaches 0 minutes.
note: this is incompatible with those that replaced theyre tokens.dat and pkey with a rc version. (or falsly
activated with a beta/rc key)
wow this file has really exploded ^_^ as of now, the file does
work on alot of peoples systems, however it does appear that there already is a patch released from ms
preventing this from working. i suggest to watch out for any outgoing connections with ms (as of always ;) )
and i did not put a virus in my rearm installer 2.0. all i did was automate the process and instaed
of replacing the vbs file. it calls upon a second vbs file (hacked one)
as of now it is half and
half. please stay tuned as of now, i am working on an actual crack not just a workaround. i have succesfully
decompiled vista slui.exe, slc.dll, ntdll.dll, and pidgenx.dll. i have succesfully removed the timebomb sys
check function under the slc.dll call. all i need to do is find a way to recompile this code into an exe
again. (please not i cant just use a std comiler as it is a mix of both basic, macroes up the wazoo c, and
c++, dont forget the script is vbscript, abd vc++. lol

please people, can you be more specific when talking of cracking vista? i mean, i have concluded that all of
you who report that different methods actually work, work only on x86 versions. unfortunately, i have found
that nothing of those methods don't work with vista ultimate x64!
the 2099 (or 2050) method does work
only for two days max and then, the clock starts ticking again.
rearm works only for 3 times whatever you
do... you cannot get it to work after the third reset even if you modify the registry on stuff.
there is
also no way to remove the annoying watermark after applying rc activation. i have tried replacing and
modifying all four user32.dll.mui files i found on my system.
so please, can anyone do some more
specific work on vista x64?!

ms can substitute any file with a security update and you'll have to do all the work again. and not updating
an ms o.s. isn't recommended...

i would say you think positive. in my opinion, the best method would be to
look for a solution which would manage to reset the rearm periodically and automatically every day, for
unlimited number of times and without need to reboot the system even once in a month.
in other words, we
need a script which will actually be an unlimited, automatic and transparent rearm running in background!
also, the potential cracker must find a way to enable unlimited rearm on vista x64 cause it simply doesn't
work now!

released yet you can see. there are some people who live in poor country. they make only $5-6/day, so they

i would like to say "thankyou" to all the people who have given their efforts in making winvista available
to those that are less fortunate. if you can afford the program then by all means purchase it.

recommend that if you visit these sites looking for cracks or whatever and they do not work make sure that you
have first followed all instructions and advise. if that does not work offer constructive and meaningful
information to the forums that may help in resolving these issues of "cracking" the os.

true, many people have (had) problems with internet access. those people are behind the router.
resolution is actually very simple:
configure your network card manually. set desired ip address, submask
and gateway (router's ip address).
the trick is that you also need to enter the same address like
router's in a field below, preffered dns. second dns leave empty.

i had a problem with internet access after installing winvista. the problem for me was simple and i think most
will find that you will only need to update your network card drivers. after installing the updated drivers i
had no other internet connection problems.
whatever you do, the 2099 "hack" won't work for more then couple of days on vista x64.
also,
some bios-es might have problem (like mine)... they don't support the year 2099. 2098 is the max. and if you
set it to 2098, vista installer sees it as 1998. so i suggest to try 2050 instead. but it doesn't work
anyway. the best way is to activate with rc key and wait for a decent crack till the summer.
how do i run vista in administrative mode? when i type slmgr -rearm, i get an errormessage telling me i need a
more elevated level! plz help!
worked a treat as per attached instructions............using vista ultimate rtm 64bit os
to run vista in administrative mode:
1.) start orb / run / write "cmd w/" (no quotes)

you have simply modified or removed the slmgr.vbs file. i don't know if it effects the counter itself or if
that file is just a tool the see the time left.
you can try to remove it and run windows for some days
and then reinstall it and see the time left. if the minutes are the same as before then the trick worked.

according to my simple calculations even without legally activating windows vista i have no problem at all .
30 days + 3 rearms gives us 120 days of use with vista !
these 120 days are real time and not

for me to complete a full install of vista
+ my programs takes less than 2 hours , meaning that i must dedicate 4-5 hours annually !!!!

enterprise or business.
here it is
step 01:
install vista final release with key

choose "business or enterprise edition" only not others !!
step 02:
when windows setup completed and internet access setup completed.
open command prompt under
"administrator mode",
that is, right click the command prompt icon, select "run as admin"
activate your business vista against sito.kmip.net
(this is a private kms server for volume license 2.0a
activation).
now in command prompt (admin mode) type:
cscript
c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -skms sito.kmip.net
cscript c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato
activate completed !!
now you may wish to check the activation status type:

the reactivate will be done automatically.
ofcourse we have a problem
here.the kms server works only for 180 days and then needs reactivation from the server.so the chinese server
will not be online forever...ms may shut it down.so he released a vmware kms image so we can create our server

i tried to clean and delete content of the sl folder in registry and put there files from the new install of
win vista ultimate with re-arm patcher but it still write to registry "skip rearm" should i delete anything

i have windows vista enterprise and none of these ways work to activate, any sugestion/solution?
this "rearm" works fine in vista x64, the only thing is that it will install the script into
windows\syswow64 so look for the slmgrhack.vbs in that folder.
like the readme says, open
the command prompt by right clicking and slecting run as admin, then nagivate to the folder where the script
is and run slmgrhack.vbs -rearm and wait until it says complete (takes a while) then reboot and go into
control panel/system and check the days.

this hack worked great on msdn x86 ultimate so i created a .bat file with the slmgrhack -rearm in the text and
placed the .bat in my startup folder. now everytime i boot up vista the counter is reset automatically.

you may know i released a similar release to this one about 3 days ago, which did not properly install. i
discovered my problem--i did not properly reseal and generalize the custom installation which caused the
release to lack hardware independence and result in an install error. this release has been tested and found
to be working on vmware--which represents a truly generic hardware profile and guarantees that this release
will work on all hardware types--vista will install necessary hardware drivers and the install will succeed.
summary
presenting the first "100% working" custom installation of
microsoft windows vista. vista enterprise edition uses vlm type licensing--no serial number is associated
with the product license and a "local" server (rather than a microsoft server) is used to activate the
product. eterprise is the vista equivalent of xp corporate edition. unlike xp corporate, which didn't
activate and required a wga hack to make it valid, vista enterprise activates to the genuine microsoft
software state.
activation is made possible, in this edition using a virtual machine that runs a
copy of a valid local activation server. what this means is, you can activate this copy of vista by running
vmware and submitting your activation information to the vmware server and in turn receive genuine activation.
this activation is tempoary, however; it is limited to 6 months per activation (180 days). to
re-activate this copy of vista simply use vmware (which is pre-installed in windows vista enterprise - jacked)
to run the local activation server and re-submit your activation information.

well, i've tested the unlimited rearm patch and i'm here to say that it does not work. it only works twice
after which the rearm command does not work anymore. my bios is set to march 2007 but i cannot rearm it
anymore. anybody got any other crack i can work with????
