Formerly known as Office 12 in the initial stages of its beta cycle, it is scheduled to be made available to volume license customers on November 30, 2006, with general availability following in early 2007. Office 2007 contains a number of notable new features, the most notable of which is the entirely new graphical user interface called the Ribbon, replacing the menus and toolbars that has been the cornerstone of Office since its inception.
Office 2007 also includes new applications and server-side tools. Chief amongst these is Groove, a collaboration and communication suite for smaller businesses which was originally developed by Groove Networks before being acquired by Microsoft in 2005. Also included is Office Sharepoint Server 2007, a major revision to the server platform for Office applications, which supports "Excel Services", a client-server architecture for supporting Excel workbooks that are shared in real time between multiple machines, and are also viewable and editable through a web page.
While Office 2007 includes many new features, one has been removed entirely: Microsoft FrontPage is no longer being developed; its successor is the Microsoft Expression line of products.
Office Professional 2007 includes the following Microsoft Office system programs: Microsoft Office Access 2007, Microsoft Office Excel® 2007, Microsoft Office Outlook® 2007 with Business Contact Manager, Microsoft Office PowerPoint® 2007, Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 and Microsoft Office Word 2007.
Additionally the following applications have been added under "Office 2007 Desktop Programs" and they include: Office Groove 2007, Office InfoPath 2007, Office OneNote 2007, Office Project 2007 and Office Visio 2007.

anyone else get a corrupt file or a invalid location error during installation
this may sound a little bit stupid but what are the differences between enterprise and professional plus

since nobody answers my question, i had to search it myself. the ultimate edition actually has nothing new to
add to the enterprise one. the enterprise one does not require activation according to ms website, cause it is
vlk. ultimate is retail, enterprise is vlk.
the serial for this is in the nfo i havn't tried it yet because im happy with my 2003 so gonna wait until
sum1 uses the serial plz fill us in if it works

what is the differnce between the entrprise one and the professional plus one.?
the serial seems to work. although in the end of the installation i received a message in the installation
saying that there was an error. as always, microsoft didn't give me the details. i'll try again and see if
it was something connected to disk space, since i am sort of lacking of it.
anyway, just my
opinion: why the heck does it uses so much space? i customized it this way:

this is monstrous.
i'll post again after freeing
more disk space. i'll free massive amounts of it. if the error continues, i won't touch this installation
disc again in months.
i jus installed it with the serial provided in nfo and it works perfectly. i really like the new layout, will
take some gettin used to. totally different.

i downloaded the enterprise edition and it works 100% no need activation just use the serial in the nfo

the error i mentioned before dissapeared and i tend to say it was just a free
space issue, a local trouble. nothing to worry about out there.
to download, i suggest getting it via
bittorrent (i recommend azureus). i got it in a few hours, you will probably get in less than 2, considering
the incredible isps out there (compared to the ones we have here =p).
about the installation, no
issues at all. there was a time where it just freezed but since i am not dumb i checked and something was
eating my cpu, but oh well, i'm not using any dual core or any of those new freaking stuffs available these
days. so patience for oldies pcs like mine (p4 1.6 ghz 640 mram).
now, the last question. how to
install it. you can burn the bin after decompressing all the files (winrar), using nero, for instance.
then, there is another way for those ones out there that don't wanna waste a disc, you can use virtual
drives. i recommend daemon tools.

gui is wonderful, they really hit it this time. i like that slim touch when you can hide all buttons.
personally, anyway, i would have added the same style to outlook.

oh dont make it into a bin file just burn the extrated stuff onto the dvd.
it should also come with e .cue file. open the .cue file with a cd burning software and the software will do
the rest. the bin file contains data, much like an iso file, but it needs an indexing file, which is the .cue
file, which is a small file.

this is not trial software. it is the full & final version. you can have it for good. the serial works, and
does not need activation as this is the enterprise edition that is sold to large corporates. it is the most
complete of all the office suites and even contains groove, onenote, and publisher, in addition to the usual
word, excel, powerpoint, infopath, access, and outlook. great stuff to have it just after one week into rtm!

use internet download manager to download from rapidshare and other file storage sites, it starts straight
away. getright and other managers i have tried don't work.
hello, i downloaded the wink version of enterprise edition and when i entered setup, it gave me a setup error
msg with "d:\enterprise.ww\osetup.dll digital signature does not validate or is not present." i checked
and the file is there. what can be the cause of this? thanks!
nevermind guys...just found out that my cd copy is bad. i'll try using daemon tools.
i downloaded the entire part 1-26 of windows vista however it will not extract properly. and if people don't
already know this the all the files listed here for windows vista are currently banned. there is a really
good site called www.filecrunch.com that will allow up to 250 mb uploads at one time. but if anyone could
upload the 52 pars preferably seperatly so it will hopefully extract properly i would appreciate it.
filecrunch uploads faster than rapidshare and you can have unlimited downloadds and 20 second waiting time for
downloads.
i have upgraded to office 2007 which is great but i am unable to send mail in outlook, i can receive it ok but
get an error message of 'non of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your
server' i didn't have this before the upgrade. anbody with ideas?

bypass the online wga check to get all the updates? i would realy like the pdf maker part.

you don´t need do burn a dvd to install. you can use a drive emulator wich simulates a real drive from a disk
image (iso). for example, virtual daemon.
i finally got the office 07 enterprise to install with virtual daemon after wasting 3 cds using ultraiso. the
nero 7 essentials is even worset, it kept throwing some kind of error message. with ultraiso, everything
burned ok but it complaine about a missing/corrupt file during the initial installation.
is there a way
to make this work without using virtualdaemon, i would like to be able to install this in a cd. please help.

i am still waiting to hear if anyone has figured out how to bypass the wga check on the office update website.
there are a few good downloads available that require this check. the check responds with an invalid key
when run. if anyone figures this out please let me know.

i instaled wink ver:with key in nfo all running well and updated + wga
you need to change the bin file to iso,i used magic iso,which has a convertor built into it to change bin to
iso or tao etc and you can burn it to a cd as i did without any problems.isobuster is a pain in the ass to use
as the ui sucks. and can anyone confirm that office 2007 can be updated on microsoft updates with xp without
any errors or warnings etc.im using vista rc1 as vista rtm is not cracked properly yet,i will use rc1 to june.
i cannot burn the wink version of office 2007 enterprise onto a cd-r error free using nero. it keeps saying
read errors during cd-r verification burn process. i used 8x burn speed. how do i get error-free burn of the
iso file? i wasted 2 blank cd-rs.
i do a trial burn onto a cdrw and if it stuffs up or not correct format,erase and start again,when right then
i copy to a blank cdr.
how can you get the instant search update? outlook takes you to the verification site were you fail with this

well after no response to my question i have had to wipe vista off my my third hard drive and install xp and
then office 2007. i went to office update , and downloaded the pdf maker file, no problem with validation.

you should avoid posting cd keys on a public website its a sure way of getting them black listed
not if you don't ave to activate.

all img burn is a update of dvd decrypter,you cannot open up the bin file and extract raw data etc with img
burn.magic iso can change raw data to an iso or tao or bin etc,have you used isobuster or magic iso,if you
want to extract files from a xp cd then make it bootable again you can with these programs.you can not with
img burn. so dont tell me that i dont know what im talking about ok.
imgburn is used to burn images to cd or dvd . it may have the same gui as dvd decrypter but its not the same
program
all i said above is that you do not need to change from bin to iso to burn to a cd .

burnt the image to a cd-rw and then installed office 2007 from it .
once burnt to disc it can be copied
to hard drive if needed .
what you suggested is not the only way to make this work .
maybe if this was windows xp or vista i might use magic iso etc but its not needed for office 2007

also you can use alcohol 120% or other like it to mount the image .
has anybody any proofing tools nfo? i know office 2003 proofing tools work on 2007, but the new tools must be
better.
skimming through posts i saw a few complaining about not being able to send mail in the "new" version of
outlook.
99% of the time outgoing in outlook stops working it's because of an error with your
email smtp out server. changing versions of outlook may have confused the server a bit and you'll need to
have your email admin reset the smtp relaying server side.
before you go through all that though...
might want to make sure that you have the proper login credentials for your outgoing server saved in outlook.
it's not uncommon for a email provider to require different login names and/or passwords for incoming and
outgoing connections.

the second office 2007 enterprise rtm is chinese too! make sure you get rtm too! do not get the pre-release
which i wasted so much time downloading it says product expired and you cannot do anything with it! i also
wasted so much time downloading the chinese version...
office 2007 rtm and office professional plus rtm are bad in my terms. the first i believe is pre tech
refresh for beta 2 so i couldn't get it to run on vista rtm. it says pre-release all over it. the second
is the chinese version and unless you run windows in chinese it won't go. the wink version i have and need
to convert to iso so no news yet. geez vista rtm was good off this site, why isn't this?
anyway back to the subject, yeah i just downloaded the wink one, opened the rar file which auto unpacks the
others, then used a bin to iso converter, then unpacked the iso file onto the hard drive and just ran the auto
install. used the serial and all looks good so far, havent even tried burning the files to a dvd yet which i
will do shortly. anyway, nice work whoever got this version out so early, thanks.

downloaded about 4 different iso and bin images of office 2007. tried to burn, mount, and pretty much every
know thing to man to get rid of a random copy error that comes up saying it cannot find certain files and lets
you choose a location. even though original location has files there, it does not finish. what i found out is
you need to extract any two enterprise downloads bin or iso doesn't matter, extract them to hard and then
when copy error comes up just point to other extracted folder and it will work even though everything about
the file sizes, dates, stamps are the same. very odd.
figured it all out. it was people not knowing how to wrap something up with checks. some will never learn.
all right, if you have trouble installing office 2007, then read this guide, and see if you still have any
trouble.
1. download the torrent
2. wait until torrent is finished
3. open folder
4. important! extract files until you have wink-o2k7e.bin and wink-o2k7e.cue.
5. once you have done that,
install magiciso (or any bin-to-iso converter that you prefer)
6. convert the bin.
7. insert the
.cue file into the newly-created iso.
8. run daemon tools/burn on cd
9. run setup, use serial
number, etc.
ta-da.
